Travel in a private safari-equipped 4x4 with an experienced local driver-guide who helps you spot wildlife and understand the landscapes, animals, and conservation stories of Tarangire National Park and the UNESCO-listed Ngorongoro Crater. Search for Tarangire’s famous elephant herds among ancient baobab trees before descending into Ngorongoro Crater, home to one of Africa’s most remarkable concentrations of wildlife. Meeting and pickup information
- Complimentary pickup is included from hotels and accommodations in Arusha or Moshi, or from Kilimanjaro International Airport. Please provide your accommodation or flight details at least 24 hours before departure so we can coordinate your pickup with your arrival schedule. Your driver-guide will meet you at the agreed location holding a sign with the lead traveler’s name. One soft-sided bag weighing up to 15 kg per traveler can be stored in the safari vehicle; please arrange larger or hard-sided luggage with us in advance. Day 2 drop-off is at the original pickup point, normally around 5:00–6:00 pm, depending on traffic, weather, and wildlife viewing conditions.
